VIDEO: Acupuncture in Banos Ecuador

World Winder lived in the hot springs town of Banos de Santa Agua for one month.  While there, Neil had 6 sessions of acupuncture with Xu Jing at her House of Health.  House of Health in Spanish is Casa de Salud.  If you are interested in trying acupuncture, check out this video for an idea of how if works.

The track “Felicidade” was recorded by a group called Bossa Colonia from Colonia de Sacramento, Uruguay.  Colonia de Sacramento is an easy side trip from Buenos Aires.  Thanks to the band for permission to use your music.

Do you find it helped you?

    • Neil Friedman says:

I spoke to Xu Jing (she speaks Spanish but not English) about my therapy before my first session. She figured that I needed between 5 and 10 sessions to feel a difference. I feel that it helped the pain in my knee and I would definitely try acupuncture if I need it again.
