La Mama Negra Video

It’s difficult to believe that Melissa and I have been on the road for over a year.  Annual celebrations and festivities that we attended in Ecuador a year ago are fast approaching.

La Fiesta Mama Negra was the best festival we attended in our first year on the road.

The best festival that we attended in our first year abroad was definitely La Fiesta Mama Negra.  We took a short bus ride from Banos, Ecuador and arrived eager to join the celebrations.  Although we didn’t bring our SLR camera to Latacunga for the colorful event, we snapped some great pictures of La Mama Negra.  We also received a guest video blog from our friend Lord Ax Hooper, who accompanied us to Latacunga that day.  The following is video footage taken by me.
