Super Bowl History at the Pro Football Hall of Fame in Canton Ohio

In 2010 Melissa and I embarked on a summer road-trip from New York through parts of the midwest and Kentucky.  We started out with my parents Judy and Arnie and headed west to the Rock and Roll Hall of Fame in Cleveland, Ohio.  It was great but for some reason they won’t let you snap photographs or take video inside the exhibits.  The next day we headed to Canton, Ohio to visit the Pro Football Hall of Fame.  There are themed rooms and wings devoted to the Super Bowl, players elected into the hall , the evolution of football equipment, and the history of various leagues, especially the National Football League (NFL).  Whether you want to play interactive games, admire past Super Bowl rings, or hone up on football trivia you can spend days exploring the property.  The Pro Football Hall of Fame makes a  great road-trip pilgrimmage and they even let you take pictures.

The Pittsburgh Steelers tiptoed their way to victory in Super Bowl XLIII.

The winner of the Super Bowl receives the Lombardi Trophy which honors a former Green Bay Packers icon.
