Melissa awaits wedding guests on April 29, 2006.
On April 29th 2006, Melissa and I were married at the Bridgewater Manor in Somerset, New Jersey. We celebrated with friends and family from Friday night until Monday morning. A few weeks later we grabbed our first digital camera and headed to parts of Costa Rica for our honeymoon. During our luna de miel we explored the beachside surf spot Playa Tamarindo, hiked and zip-lined through the Monteverde Cloud Forest, and soaked in thermal waters near a large volcano named Arenal. Wildlife was abundant. Food was spectacular in each region. The people were relaxed and welcoming. As soon as we returned home we brainstormed scenarios that could bring us back to Costa Rica, the perfect country for a honeymoon. We have yet to make it back, but look forward to the day we can revisit and once again experience pura vida.
